GlenBarrey Stud is now offering brand new speller yards and light rehabilitation for horses, for both race horses and performance horses.

We have over 25 years of experience caring, growing and rehabilitating many breeds and horses from all disciplines.

We are very accessible from the Sydney area as well as being close to the Hume Highway for access from Victoria.

Short or longer term stays are welcome. Please contact Glennis to discuss your needs.

Present - Our facilities on offer are:

• Newly fenced safe electric yards - 5 foot high to allow horses to see each other but not play and damage each other with individual shelters and automatic drinkers.
• Horses are fed twice a day with feeds according to individual needs.
• Rugging in winter can also be arranged.
• 24 hour supervision.
• Vets from Camden University as well as Andrew Argyle regularly attending the property so we can offer excellent veterinary care if required.
• Two farriers regularly attend the property for trimming or shoeing.
• Stabling available.
• Various size yards for rehabilitating horses starting from a confined area and ending up into a larger area under a controller and regulated manner. All can be done with close and professional supervision from the vets we have on hand.
• Light exercise – hand walking or lunging.

Future -  In 2009 we would like to extend our facilities and services to:

• Additional speller yards and stables. 
• A dry walker for controlled exercise for horses either coming back from a spell or slowly bringing them back from and injury or illness.
• A spa to enable concussion free healing
• Exercise under saddle so the horses can be in light fitness before they either need to go back into the competition arena or back to the race track.
• Foaling down broodmares, we have experience in breeding and running a stud for the last 25 years.
• We can also offer a growing on facility for the owners who do not have land and would like space for their youngsters to grow up healthy and safely .
